Whitney Port is practically the queen of casual yet formal-appropriate hair ‘dos. Here, she swept the top half of her long locks up off her face, then teased the front to create a voluminous pouf. Her hair hangs in very loose, beachy waves. Use a medium-barrel curling iron to create waves, then separate them out with a sea salt spray and crunch them up with your hands.

If a pouf isn't your thing, part your locks down the middle and draw the two side pieces back. Secure them with bobby pins, then curl or gently scrunch up the rest of your hair to create waves.
