Curly Updo Hairstyles for Prom and Homecoming

So you’ve got curly hair, and you’re heading out to a fancy formal dance like prom or homecoming. Instead of heating up your flat iron, try out one of these curly updo hairstyles straight from the red carpet. Wavy-haired celebs like Taylor Swift, Mary-Kate Olsen and Vanessa Hudgens prove that curly hair may just be the best kind of hair for a formal dance!

Note: you don’t have to have naturally curly hair to get these looks. If your hair is straight or slightly wavy, use a medium-barrel curling iron to create curls all over, then start crafting your updo from there.
