1. Kat De Luna

Kat De Luna's dress was designed by high school student Larissa. Several classmates competed to style the star, and this adorable purple short ball gown (Compare Prices) with a ruffled sweetheart neckline took the prize. Kat let the dress take center stage by scaling back on accessories and simply wearing a purple cocktail ring and rhinestone peep toe pumps.

2. Katrina Bowden

Sticking with the purple theme, Katrina Bowden wore a satin cocktail dress (Compare Prices) with a obi-cinched waist and sweet tied shoulder straps. The highlight was her shimmery rhinestone headband that sparkled up and down the red carpet.

3. Tina Parol

Up-and-coming singer Tina Parol wore a Bebe dress -- the same label she wore to her actual prom a few years back -- and customized it by adding a purple leopard crinoline (Compare Prices). She also added on a handful of necklaces, a stack of bracelets, and a lovely lavender corsage.

4. Ally Zarin & Victoria de Lesseps

Real Housewives of New York daughters Ally Zarin and Victoria de Lesseps both sweetened up the red carpet with their charming personalities and equally cute strapless cocktail dresses (Compare Prices).

5. High school student Larissa

Prom attendee, high school student, and De Luna dress designer Larissa wore a floral-bedecked fuchsia confection (Compare Prices) that she created herself. Short in the front and trailing in the back, this frock was inventive and eye-catching.
