Style Inspiration: Chloe Grace Moretz

Sleeveless dresses, strappy shoes and headbands sum up this star's style!

Chloe Grace Moretz, how do I love thy style? Let me count the ways! Chloe Grace has been traipsing up and down the red carpet wearing the most adorable dresses and accessories. Her style is a little more on the sophisticated side, she’s not afraid to experiment with different hem lengths, and the girl knows how to rock a pattern. Here, we dissect her outfits.

1. Chloe Shines in A-Line

Out of all Chloe’s red carpet dresses, this one is my fave. The a-line silhouette fits her well (then again, this is the most flattering dress silhouette ever, for any body type), I dig how the material has a slight sheen to it, and the color goes well with her blonde locks. A-plus!

2. Brilliant in Burgundy

Chloe’s crushed velvet, embroidered burgundy dress has everything she needs to be trendy for fall. She accessorizes with a wide black belt that defines her waist and breaks up the mono-hue dress. I like how she opted for a sleeveless dress instead of a strapless one. It looks just a bit more sophisticated.

3. Pretty in Patterns

Same sassy pose, totally different dress. The garden-inspired pattern on this frock features flowers, leaves and vines in earth tones. The ruching (that means gathered fabric) is totally flattering in that it hides any bulges, and the cap sleeves are adorable. Chloe opted for muted makeup that plays off the colors in her dress to complete her look.

4. Loving the Long Sleeves

If you want to experiment with a long-sleeved dress, take a clue from Chloe. This dress hugs her body all the way to the skirt, where it flares out to create a short and sassy hemline. The dark pattern makes it hard to look away. Who says that black and blue don’t mix?

5. Chloe’s Essential Black Heels

Every gal should have a pair of heels that go with everything. Chloe has paired these black strappy sandals with more than a few of her red carpet dresses. They go perfectly with long or short gowns are a definitely glam enough for Hollywood’s most discerning style eye. Whether she’s budget conscious or they’re just her most favorite, comfortable pair… I love her for it!

6. Oh Very Orange

Chloe’s not afraid to stand out with this orange frock. Even the silhouette makes her stand out. Instead of a mico-mini hem, she goes for a tea-length one that ends just past her knees. I love her dainty t-strap nude heels, too! Any other color would compete with her dress.

7. Shoulder-Baring Black

Chloe experiments with baring her shoulders in this little black dress. The fitted silhouette is perfect for showing off her petite figure, and the long hemline is once again a daring choice for someone so young. I love her black metallic nail polish, but I would have accessorized with some dainty jewels. Perhaps a thin bracelet or a couple of rings?

8. Chloe Goes Grunge

Even though Chloe is wearing a fancy dress, there are definite 90s grunge elements in her entire look. The wrinkled-on-purpose fabric, diagonal hemline, army green hue and slouchy fit are certainly throwbacks. She’s even colored a few strands of her hair hot pink (wonder if she used Manic Panic?) She accessorizes with animal skin wide-strap heels that play off the color of her dress, pale mint nail polish, and a single pearl ring. Overall, this look is a total vintage-inspired win!

9. A Cute Headband

Updo? No thank you. Chloe usually wears her medium-length blond hair down. Sometimes it’s straight and sometimes she goes for big curls. Now and then she’ll sport a cute headband to perk up her ‘do, like this scrunched black one.
